Srdja Trifkovic interviews the BNP's Nick Griffin.
Very interesting interview; very interesting comments. Those of you unaware of the controversial British National Party and its somewhat new direction under Griffin really ought to brush up. Say what you will about Griffin: he is certainly articulate. As more and more conservatives here in America and overseas recognize the bankruptcy of their regnant "conservatisms," they will start to gravitate toward men of the hard right who espouse a starker, more realist and resolute philosophy of governance.

If God wills it. . .
this nation called America will change the trend of the whole world, and reverse everything. The chaff of sin, decadence and corruption for burning. The wheat of grace and the good normality of the created order forever. Don't misunderstand me, America has much to atone for, and atone she will. But within her resides the remnant. I don’t care if it is jingoism: America is, in fact, “the last best hope.” Because Europe and Canada sure aren’t.
But in order for her to lead the way (which should be done by example for the peoples of the world to emulate, not by international mission), she must discover her authentic traditions of agrarianism, republicanism, liberty (distinguishable from libertinism), and civic virtue. Most importantly, she must rediscover the Faith which played such a large role in her formation.
