Turkish Delight.

Well isn't that special?
If this isn't an indication of the kind of fantasies about the West that so-called "moderate" Muslims typically entertain, I don't know what is. Not all Muslims are actively involved in waging war against the West, but I think it's safe to say that the vast majority of them still dream of Islamic empire. We take these people into our socio-political bosom only at our great peril.
I think it is doubtful that Turkey's secular government will be able to stem the tide of resurgent Islam in that country. Time for secularists everywhere to wake up.
