Who is next? And why do we take it?
So asks Pat Buchanan about the PC Hegemon, most recently illustrated here in America by the Imus controversy: http://www.lewrockwell.com/buchanan/buchanan57.html .
Why indeed? As I have stated previously, the day is coming, and now is, when we will not take it any more.

"Snakebit" on illegal immigration in Washington, DC
If you want to get a sense for how absolutely ineffectual our illustrious klounocrats in the nation's capitol are, and how absolutely clueless neocon yes men such as Hugh Hewitt are, listen to the exchange between Glenn Reynolds, Mickey Kaus and Hewitt here: http://www.townhall.com/TalkRadio/Show.aspx?RadioShowID=5&ContentGuid=4bbf0ab8-b4ca-4a50-af22-98c742d82527 .
At least Reynolds and Kaus have some sense of the impending doom. Hewitt, however, continues to argue that Congress And The President Will Save Us, while he continues to slam realist politicians such as Tam Tancredo, whom he calls "the Ambrose Burnsides and Joe Hookers of the anti-illegal immigration movement": http://hughhewitt.townhall.com/g/8bdd9881-8ee6-4728-b2da-d9d910c9d223 .
There's irony for you. If there's anything that's Burnside or Hooker-like, it is the campaign against illegal immigration being waged by our national "leaders", as the interview clearly shows. I still enjoy listening to the articulate Mr. Hewitt, and I agree with him on certain things, but he is such a dull boy when it comes to this issue (and several others).
